Kit Contains

This kit contains our KBS AquaKlean (a water-based, heavy-duty, cleaner/degreaser) and KBS RustBlast (a powerful rust remover/metal etch) to obtain a permanently sealed, rust-free fuel tank. These KBS prep products are formulated with a unique Oxygen-Block Technology which reduces the occurrence of flash rust by over 80% and extends rust-free storage times by leaving a temporary protective coating in addition to a zinc phosphate film.

Fantastic product

I have an old Honda with an extremely rusty tank with actual holes that I needed to patch, couldn’t find a replacement so decided to give this coating try.

Could not be more pleased with the results, the tank will live on for many years to come

We used the product supplied and folowed the comprehesive instructions 3 step process simple but effective. The petrol tank was cleaned of all rust and impurities and the sealer cured and worked a treat I would certainly use this product again if required and therefore highly recommend it to others requiring a cost efective means to clean and seal a petrol tank - no more dirt blocking the tractors carburetor!

KBS fuel tank repair/ sealer kit.

Kit worked very well, but what was not clear is that it does not come with anything to get rid of the existing crumbling liner (that mine had). The kit recommends you use a paint stripper. That was by far the worst part of that job. From then on it was simply follow the instructions. Excellent result.
