Kit Contains

This kit contains our KBS AquaKlean (a water-based, heavy-duty, cleaner/degreaser) and KBS RustBlast (a powerful rust remover/metal etch) to obtain a permanently sealed, rust-free fuel tank. These KBS prep products are formulated with a unique Oxygen-Block Technology which reduces the occurrence of flash rust by over 80% and extends rust-free storage times by leaving a temporary protective coating in addition to a zinc phosphate film.

This tank was quite rusty and weeping petrol from an old repair as well as a seam. KBS system was incredibly easy to use and the end result was brilliant.

KBS tank restore classic car tank

Superb product - my tank had been in a car parked up for 40 years. I initially soaked for a week with 25L of vinegar which cleaned out a lot. It wasnt until I used the aqua clean that I discovered how much more gum and gunk there was! It dealt to it completely. The rust blast worked well, I re used the liquid several times and followed up with a pressure washer leaving an awesome clean tank. The final step (make sure not to shake the paint!) took me longer than the 30minite limit due to the size of it being 45L but it has covered the inside very well. Glad I purchased this product it actually works. Like ACTUALLY. Take the time and enjoy the process
